With PRESERVÉ™, the profile of the implant is not chosen according to a trend, but according to the anatomy, tissue quality and proportions of a particular woman.
01 How is the implant profile planned with the PRESERVÉ™ method?
One of the most frequent questions during the consultation is:
"Which implant will be best for me?"
Many women expect that the answer lies in a specific implant profile - Mini, Demi or Full.
In fact, it's the exact opposite.
With the PRESERVÉ™ method, we do not start with implant selection.
We start with your anatomy.
The profile of the implant is the result of the entire planning process.
02 What does implant profile mean?
When talking about an implant, most women imagine its volume.
250 ml.
300 ml.
350 ml.
However, volume is only one part of the whole decision-making process.
The profile of the implant is equally important.
The profile determines how the given volume is distributed.
With the same volume, the implant can be:
- wider and lower,
- balanced,
- narrower and more projecting forward. That is why two implants with the same volume can produce two completely different results.
300 ml): - MINI → wider base, lower projection - DEMI → balanced ratio of width and projection - FULL → same base, higher projection And below them a short sentence: With the PRESERVÉ™ method, we do not select a profile as desired. We choose it according to anatomy.
03 There is no universally best profile
Patients often ask us:
"Which profile is the most natural?"
The answer is simple.
None.
There is no profile that is best for every woman.
Every body is different.
And that is why the choice of implant must be individual.
04 What do we evaluate during the consultation?
When planning augmentation, we do not only evaluate the size of the breasts.
We analyze the entire chest and its proportions.
The most important are:
- chest width,
- breast diameter,
- amount of own breast tissue,
- quality and elasticity of the skin,
- breast position,
- asymmetry,
- proportions of the whole figure,
- the patient's expectations.
Only when we know all these data do we start planning the implant.
05 When can the Mini profile be suitable?
The Mini profile has a wider base and a lower projection. It may be a suitable choice for women:
- with a wider chest,
- who prefer a very delicate result,
- with sufficient width of own breast,
- if we want to keep very natural proportions.
However, this does not mean that it will create a lesser effect.
In the correct anatomy, it can have an extremely harmonious effect.
06 When do we choose the Demi profile?
The Demi profile represents a balanced ratio between the width of the implant and its projection.
It is often suitable for patients who want to:
- natural filling of the cleavage,
- harmonious shape,
- preservation of body proportions.
In many cases, it offers a compromise between softness and sufficient volume.
07 When can the Full profile be suitable?
The Full profile has a higher projection with the same base.
It can be suitable for example:
- with a narrow chest,
- when we want to achieve greater breast protrusion without expanding its base,
- if the anatomical conditions allow it. However, a higher projection does not automatically mean a better result.
How the implant fits into the particular anatomy is always decisive.
08 The implant profile is only one part of the puzzle
Even a perfectly chosen profile will not work properly if it does not respect its own tissues.
Therefore, with the PRESERVÉ™ method, we pay the same attention to:
- leather quality,
- breast support ligament,
- the natural architecture of tissues,
- mini-invasive surgical technique.
It is their mutual cooperation that creates a result that remains in harmony with the body.
09 We do not adapt the implant to trends
Trends are changing in aesthetic medicine.
Very full cleavages are once popular.
Sometimes more delicate shapes.
However, the anatomy does not change.
Therefore, with the PRESERVÉ™ method, we do not adapt the choice of implant to current trends.
We adapt it to the body of a specific woman.
10 PRESERVÉ™ philosophy
In PRESERVÉ™, we don't start with the question: "Mini, Demi or Full?"
We start with a question:
"What will be in long-term harmony with your body?"
Only when we know the answer do we decide on the profile of the implant.
Not according to the catalog.
But according to anatomy.
11 Conclusion
The profile of the implant does not only determine how the breasts will look after surgery.
It also affects how they will act when moving, how they will fit into the proportions of the body and how harmoniously they will cooperate with their own tissues.
Therefore, in the PRESERVÉ™ method, we do not select the profile of the implant as a separate parameter.
We plan it as part of the entire surgical concept.
Because the best implant is not the one with the highest profile.
Not even the one with the largest volume.
It is the one that is in accordance with the anatomy of a particular woman.
12 Idea for the visual of the article
I would supplement this article with one very powerful infographic.
Title:
The same volume. Three different profiles. Three different results. Below that, three implants with the same volume (e.g. 300 ml):
- MINI → wider base, lower projection
- DEMI → balanced ratio of width and projection
- FULL → same base, higher projection
And below them a short sentence:
With the PRESERVÉ™ method, we do not select a profile as desired. We choose it according to anatomy.
